The Google Maps app for Android phones and tablets bring turn-by-turn navigation with lane guidance displays distance, the arrival time, and quick access to alternate routes. Maps has improved substantially over the last few months. While it is not always intuitive to figure out how to change the method of transport or to change the route, it now displays more useful and relevant info when searching directly in the app.

Google Maps with navigation is one of the best GPS and mapping softwares around. And that's not even the best part! is's free! Whereas other companies want to charge you monthly service charges for inferior services; Google provides all this for free! Google puts apple to shame with their maps. Always finds the route within seconds too.

Google Maps seems to be a lot faster and smoother. The app performs well, has a great interface and integrates with Google Now. There are some great new features on this version such as having ETA and time remaining on the bottom at the same time. The navigation is so much better now! The spoken directions are clearer, traffic is super accurate, and the street signs that tell you if roads left/right only are useful in busy traffic on unfamiliar roads.

This is an essential application that really does make question the need for a stand-alone navigation device. You can use for navigation, directions, and finding a location. The addition of lane guidance really helps out with safer driving. Not having to make rapid, last-minute lane changes will be a welcome addition. Also, the combination of travel time remaining/miles remaining/time of arrival is a nice safety feature. Keeps you from having to fiddle with the phone while driving.

What's new in version 8.0.0:

- Sign in to see your “Places to review” list from recently saved or searched-for places

- Transit results now display total walking time of your trip and the next scheduled bus or train

- If you have the Uber app installed, open it right from Google Maps when comparing route options

- Save and manage offline maps in a custom list for when you're traveling or have a slow connection

Game publisher Ubisoft launch new racing game "Trials Frontier" for Android. This is a brilliant combination of mobile madness and Ubisoft excellence and finesse. If you are a huge Trials game fan Trials Frontier is for you. This game is a lot of fun and going the free to play route was very smart on the publisher's side. The free to play aspect is implemented so that you can still play the game without paying but if you want to hurry progression through the game, you can pay off you want to.

As usual Ubisoft have done it again another top notch game well done keep it up. This is a good game, especially for the people that are trying to find a good trials or motocross game. If you love it on the consoles you will love it on your phone. Great little story is telling going on in the game. Great game for whittling away time, challenges are hard but not impossible. It fun and entertaining that will keeps you wanting more. The levels are all different in their own way, and there are lots of them, each with their different challenges. You will like how you collect different items to advance in the game. Leveling up, upgrading different bikes and missions. This game has it all going on.

If you have played the Xbox counterparts and this is just as good. Will keep you entertained for hours and if you like MotoHeroz another Ubisof game just like this then you will love trials. Explore a vast world on your motorcycle. Compete against your friends on Global Leaderboards. Master physics-based tracks to challenge the world's top riders for the best times. Race your motorcycle through a world of adventure, crazy characters, and unfairly addictive tracks! Some of the levels are a bit too difficult and take multiple retries, especially when you have to get zero faults and a silver in one of the tracks, but the graphics are amazing and the gameplay itself is really fun. Overall Trials Frontier is very nice game with a lot of nice content, recommended this game to everyone.

Enjoying the nostalgic feel hearing those iconic sound effects while trying to crush your enemies base. You can play through the game and have a good time whatever you do.

Metal Slug Defense is a hard game. A very challenging but also very fun strategy game that makes excellent use of the Metal Slug name and assets. Gameplay is very simple and easy to grasp. Game difficulty varies and provides entertainment for casual to hardcore gamers alike. You can finish in about a week on trips to and from work though. You can unlock your standard characters from the games, but you must pay for the bigger guns (slugs, more troops, etc.). You can earn everything they offer in shop winning WiFi battle.

Don't worry about people complaining about difficulty, just replay areas a few times. In order to rescue the p.o.w you have to keep playing the mission over and over till you rescue them all. so basically all you have to do is to keep on replaying the same stage over and over in order to rescue them all and once you rescue them all, move on to the next stage level and repeat with the same process.

Metal Slug Defense is a great game overall. Excellent game that had fused the units and character of the Metal Slug series with the tower defense gameplay really well. It is a good game that will makes you want to play the originals. It has all the great Metal Slug atmosphere with a twist of a defense game and a fair point system. It brings back memories, and the online vs matches great addiction. Everything looks beautifully and runs smoothly. Good graphics, easy how to play and addictive, it's totally worth it!
